Angel came into rescue, a pup that was part of a litter that had been born in rescue kennels, after her mum and dad were left in boarding kennels and never picked up! The litter was taken to a friend of Rescues where they were cared for until they were ready for their new homes. Each pup was examined by a vet before their first vaccination, this is when it was found that Angel had a heart murmur. Because of this instead of being rehomed she came to me as the welfare coordinator of UK Bullmastiff Rescue so I could seek specialist help for her health problem.
You can read all about Angel on the Rescue site here....
Since having two major operations Angel is now as fit as can be ..so much so that now our name for her is ‘crazy legs’ as she never stops running around !
It is now plain to see that angel is not a full bullmastiff .. it is guessed that she is probably part Cane Corso. We were never sure of one parent ..breed people said .. ‘probably a poor specimen of the breed’.
Whether a poor specimen or not ..she is still a beautiful girl who has a temperament to be proud of with all people and all other animals and we are proud to say that she stayed with us and has become a very much loved member of our family.
